Edna Crotts Alexander

SHELBY- Edna Crotts Alexander, at the age of 89, entered into her eternal home on October 24, 2025. She is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Edna was born on October 24, 1936 to the late Clarence and Ethel Crotts.

Edna loved life, her family and friends, but nothing nor anyone compared to the love she had for her Lord and Savior. She was a faithful member of Westwood Heights Baptist Church. She traveled the world sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ. We and all those who loved her will miss her dearly and she will remain in our hearts forever.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dale Alexander; and siblings, Jean Crotts, Ben Crotts, Robert Crotts and Rev. Johnny Crotts.

Edna is survived by her son, Kenneth Alexander and wife Karen; her daughter, Linda LaVene and husband Robert; granddaughters, Susan Miller and husband Jeremy and Alicia Rakich and husband Danny; great-grandaughters, Kinley Miller and Aubrie Miller; siblings, Paul Crotts and wife Glenda, Ray Crotts and wife Donna, Gene Crotts and wife Maxine, Polly Lail, and Freida Valcore; sister-in-law, Dott Crotts; and last but not least her cherished four-legged best friend, Peaches.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM Monday, October 27, 2025 at Westwood Heights Baptist Church with Pastor David Costner officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Graveside to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens weather permitting.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Westwood Heights Baptist Church.
